Â The ranking shows there are 12 schools in the district for K-12, with approximately 8,281 students. Â “According to state standards, 89% of students in this district are considered proficient in math and/or reading. The district has an annual budget of $115,969,000, spending an average of $14,144 per student. There have been 598 reviews written and they have been mostly positive.”
Other NASD statistics include:

-99.0% average graduation rate
-Average SAT score: 1840
-Average ACT score: 29
Niche.com says they ranked more than 100,000 public and private schools and districts based on dozens of statistics and 27 million opinions from 300,000 students and parents.  According to Niche.com, the 2016 Best School Districts ranking takes into account factors such as the strength of academics, quality of teachers, school resources, the quality of student life, as well as student and parent reviews, in an attempt to measure the overall excellence of the district.
At the time of calculation, Niche.com says their database contained records for 12,153 school districts. School districts were not included in the ranking process if they did not have sufficient data, according to the website. Niche.com says the final ranking results in 10,563 school districts receiving a grade, with 10,488 of those also receiving a numerical ranking.
